exterior facade molding strip
An exterior facade molding strip is a polyurethane decorative profile that creates a horizontal or vertical line on a building's outer surface. It is used between floors, around windows and along facade borders to divide the surface and emphasise facade lines. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the facade with construction adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and impact, does not absorb water, crack or blister. It can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being lighter than its plaster equivalent and not absorbing water gives long service life in outdoor conditions. Because it is cast in a mould, the molding section repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces exterior facade molding strips in different widths and section dimensions.
