A wall trim ornament is a single decorative polyurethane element used together with trim in wall panelling. It is usually placed at panel corners or trim junctions to soften the straight lines of the surface and give a classic look. It is preferred on living room, bedroom and hallway walls. The polyurethane material is lightweight and bonds straight to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and takes paint well. It is lighter than plaster ornament, more economical than carved wood and unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the ornament detail repeats identically on every piece.
