The P8054 is a premium decorative square medallion panel measuring 235x235 mm with a slim 17 mm profile. This exquisite piece serves as a highly versatile architectural accent, ideal for elevating plain walls, custom furniture, cabinetry, or ceiling junctions. Designed for discerning architects and interior designers across Europe, it seamlessly blends classical symmetry with advanced material technology.
Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this ornament delivers the tactile hardness of natural wood without the associated weight or vulnerability. With a low water absorption rate, it is moisture-resistant, helping to reduce warping, rotting, or swelling in damp environments. It performs reliably across a wide temperature spectrum from -20 °C / +70 °C and has fire class B2 (DIN 4102-1).
Visually, the P8054 showcases a stunning central circular frame enclosing a symmetrical, four-way botanical cross motif reminiscent of classical acanthus foliage. The outer corners are anchored by beautifully detailed leaf-like carvings that bridge the circular medallion to the square outer border. This intricate relief work adds tangible depth and elegant shadow play to any flat surface.
Its application potential is vast. In residential interiors, it can be used as a repetitive wall tile, a decorative center for cabinet doors, or a corner accent for wall moulding frames. For commercial projects like boutique hotels, upscale restaurants, or retail spaces, it can be integrated into column capitals, reception desks, or ceiling patterns. Since it is highly water-resistant, it is equally suited for covered outdoor terraces or exterior facades when finished correctly.
Compared to heavy gypsum plaster or moisture-sensitive MDF, this lightweight panel simplifies installation and eliminates transport breakage. It comes pre-finished with a factory primer, preparing the surface for final coating. To install, apply polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive to the clean back, press onto the surface, and secure mechanically with fine screws. Fill any gaps with acrylic putty, sand gently, and apply your choice of water-based or synthetic paint. Please note that an additional primer prior to final painting is optional based on paint manufacturer guidelines.
