A wall transition arch is a polyurethane decorative element applied above the door or opening between two spaces, creating the look of an arched passage. By giving a plain opening a curved top line, it lends classic character to the transition; it is used in living-hallway, entrance and niche openings. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly to the wall with installation adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with plaster it does not break, compared with wood it is not affected by moisture, and its installation is faster.
