plain skirting profile

A plain skirting profile is a polyurethane skirting element with a flat, simple cross-section, applied along the line where the wall meets the floor. It is used to close the base of the wall and protect this area from impact and contact during cleaning. The polyurethane material is light and is fixed directly to the wall with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. Unlike wood it is unaffected by water contact and does not warp; unlike plaster it does not break. The flat cross-section makes mitre corner joints easy and gives a clean line along long walls. Polure produces the plain skirting profile by casting in different height and length options; the profile cross-section is the same on every piece.
