Electric Fireplace Decor

Electric fireplace decor is the term covering all the decorative polyurethane elements used around an electric fireplace unit, such as the surround, shelf and profiles. It is used in living rooms, lounges and offices to turn the fireplace into a visual focal point on the wall. Pieces such as the surround, top shelf and side jambs are applied to the wall with mounting adhesive. The polyurethane material is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted; this lets it install faster than its plaster or timber equivalents.
