square ceiling medallion
A square ceiling medallion is a square decorative polyurethane medallion applied to the centre of the ceiling. It is usually placed around a chandelier or lighting fixture to create a focal point on the ceiling. The polyurethane is lightweight and applies to the ceiling with construction adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. It is much lighter than plaster and easy to install. Because the pieces are mould-cast, the medallion pattern repeats identically on every unit. Polure produces square ceiling medallions in a range of sizes and patterns.
