arched window moulding

An arched window moulding is a single curved, arch-shaped polyurethane decorative element that surrounds the top of a window opening. On classical-style building facades it adds an arch line above the window and forms a frame integrated with the surround. It is usually applied together with a keystone and side surround pieces. Polyurethane is lightweight and attaches directly to the facade with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. It is lighter and faster to install than its plaster equivalent. Being mould-cast, the arch profile is identical on every piece. Polure produces the arched window moulding in different span and profile sizes.
