Decorative Polyurethane Corbel with Acanthus Leaf Detail

The P9001 decorative architectural element functions as a premium structural accent, ideal for elevating window headers, door portals, and roofline overhangs. Designed with classic Hellenistic and Roman motifs, this corbel brings architectural depth and a sense of historical permanence to both residential and commercial facades. Its lightweight composition ensures effortless handling while delivering the visual impact of heavy masonry or hand-carved timber.

Engineered from high-density rigid foam with a density range of 150-220 kg/m³, this ornament matches the physical hardness of softwood without its susceptibility to decay. Measuring 211 mm in width, 227 mm in depth, and 271 mm in height, the piece is perfectly scaled for medium-to-large architectural features. Its closed-cell structure guarantees water absorption of less than 1%, preventing rot, warp, or crack formation, with dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C.

The visual profile of the P9001 is characterized by a central acanthus leaf carving, divided by a delicately beaded vertical spine. At the base, the leaf scrolls gracefully into twin symmetrical volutes, creating a balanced, classical anchor. High-definition molding captures every fine vein and deep relief shadow, producing clean lines that catch ambient light beautifully. The surface arrives pre-primed from the factory, offering a uniform base that enhances the definition of these ornamental details.

This versatile bracket excels as a decorative support under balconies, bay windows, or roof cornices on classic villa facades. Indoors, it serves as a sophisticated corbel supporting decorative shelving, mantelpieces, or as a corner accent in grand entryways and hotel lobbies. When painted with UV-resistant coatings, it seamlessly integrates into exterior facades, resisting discoloration and atmospheric wear.

Compared to heavy plaster or concrete casts, this polymer alternative eliminates structural load concerns and resists impact damage during transit and installation. Mounting requires preparing a clean, dry surface, applying a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive, and securing the piece mechanically with screws. Joint lines and screw heads are easily concealed with exterior-grade filler, followed by sanding with 180-220 grit paper before applying your choice of topcoat. Note that while the factory primer prepares the surface, applying a compatible paint-system primer is recommended to secure manufacturer paint warranties.
