short roman column unit

A short roman column unit is a polyurethane decorative element of the classical Roman column order produced at a low size. It consists of a base, shaft and capital and is preferred for decorative uses that do not reach the ceiling; it is used in places such as partition wall terminations, console legs and display stands. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied quickly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being light compared with stone and plaster makes carrying and positioning easier, and it can be used safely in wet areas as well. Since it is mould-produced, the fluting and capital details are identical on every piece. Polure produces the short roman column unit in different diameter and height sizes.
