Short roman columns are polyurethane decorative elements of the classical Roman column form produced at a low height. In interiors that do not require a full-height column, they serve as a load-bearing-look ornament in partition ends, beneath vanities and consoles, and in display layouts. They consist of a shaft, base and capital. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being noticeably lighter than a stone or plaster column, it can be carried by one person and causes no trouble in damp environments.
