classic batten profile

A classic batten profile is a slim, long dressing element that defines the cross-sectional shape of wall and ceiling battens. It is used to create a raised line on the surface in panel framing and ceiling division, and its cross-section gives a shadow and depth effect. Polyurethane batten profiles are lightweight; they add no extra load to the surface and are applied directly with construction adhesive. The material resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel and can be painted. Compared with timber alternatives, it does not absorb moisture or swell and installs quickly. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section continues identically on every piece. Polure produces classic batten profiles in a range of widths and cross-sections.
