classic column base models
Classic column base models are the polyurethane versions of the base elements that sit at the bottom of columns and pilasters, separating the shaft from the floor, designed to classical architectural proportions. In full and half column applications they are placed beneath the shaft to create a unified appearance. Polyurethane bases are light and applied with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Despite being close to the floor, the polyurethane structure keeps them unaffected by moisture. Because they are mould-produced, their profiles and dimensions are standard. Polure produces classic column base models in sizes suited to different column diameters.
