classic column models

Classic column models is the general name for the different polyurethane column types designed according to classical architectural orders (such as Doric, Ionic and Corinthian). They vary by differences in the proportion and ornamentation of the base, shaft and capital sections. They are used as load-bearing-looking decorative elements indoors in living rooms and entrance passages, and outdoors on facades and terraces. The polyurethane material is light and applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster and wood, handling and installation become easier. Because it is mould-cast, the fluting, chamfer and capital details of the chosen model repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces classic column models in different diameters, heights and capital options.
