log corbel

A log corbel is a polyurethane decorative bracket designed to look like a natural tree log, providing visual support between a wall and a shelf or projection. In rustic-themed interiors it is used under shelves, at cornice corners, and on wall projections for a load-bearing look and ornamentation. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Compared to a real wooden corbel, it is unaffected by moisture, insect-proof, and does not bend. Because it is cast in a mold, the log texture and form details repeat identically on every piece.
