Stair Balustrade

A stair balustrade is a polyurethane railing system made up of a handrail, newel posts and balusters along the edge of a staircase, providing both safety and a decorative frame. It offers a grip along the stairs and makes the edge of the steps stand out. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied as a cladding over a load-bearing core, or as a light decorative element fixed with mounting adhesive and screws. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted any colour. Being lighter than solid wood, it installs as a ready-made profile without joinery work. Because it is cast in moulds, the handrail and newel-post profiles repeat identically between pieces, ensuring a consistent look.
