Furniture Decoration

Furniture decoration is the work of ornamenting furniture surfaces by adding polyurethane appliqués, corner pieces, profiles and centrepieces. It is used to give plain cabinet, display unit, door and headboard surfaces a classical or carved look. Polyurethane parts are lighter than wood carving and are applied directly with wood glue or construction adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted to match the furniture colour. Because they are mould-cast, the motif details repeat identically on every piece, ensuring pattern consistency across a furniture set.
