Compared to fragile gypsum plaster or heavy cast stone, this lightweight PU alternative is impact-resistant, ensuring zero damage during transit and installation. Mounting requires a clean, dry surface, applying polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive, and securing the piece mechanically with screws. After filling screw holes, a light sanding with 180-220 grit paper prepares the surface. While the factory coat aids paint adhesion, applying an optional specialized primer before two final coats of water-based or synthetic paint is recommended for optimal paint-warranty coverage. For outdoor installations, UV-resistant paint is mandatory to prevent yellowing.
