Furniture decoration pieces are the polyurethane decorative appliqués, reliefs and crown elements added to the surfaces of furniture such as cabinets, wardrobes, display units and headboards. These pieces are used for decoration on furniture corners, door surfaces and top edges. Polyurethane is lightweight and is mounted directly onto the surface with assembly adhesive or wood glue; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. It is lighter and faster to apply than carved wood pieces and more break-resistant than plaster. Being mould-cast, the piece details are identical in every production run.
