Modern architectural moulding is a plain-section polyurethane profile that emphasises the transition between surfaces on a wall, ceiling or facade. Unlike the heavy ornamentation of classic moulding, it makes transitions such as a floor line, window surround or ceiling junction stand out with flat or lightly detailed sections. It is used at the wall-ceiling junction indoors and between floors on the exterior facade. The polyurethane material is light and is applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel and can be painted. Being lighter than its stone and plaster equivalent speeds up installation and it does not deform on the exterior facade. Its paintable surface allows adaptation to different colour palettes.
