Neoclassical exterior facade design is a design approach that arranges a building's exterior with classical architectural proportions and ornamental elements in a plain way. On the facade, window and door surrounds, string courses, columns, pilasters and eave cornices are used within a symmetric layout. When these elements are made of polyurethane, the material is light; it withstands moisture, sun and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being far lighter than stone or concrete, it adds no extra load to the facade and installation is faster.
