carved ceiling trim

Carved ceiling trim is a slim-profile decorative polyurethane trim applied to the ceiling, carrying a motif raised in relief by carving. It is used on ceilings to create panel borders, decorate the area around a ceiling rose and separate geometric sections. The polyurethane material is lightweight; it is applied directly with construction adhesive, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with plaster trim it has a low risk of breakage, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the carved motif repeats the same along the whole length of the trim. Polure produces carved ceiling trims in a range of widths and motifs.
