The P82012 decorative moulding offers an elegant architectural solution for defining surfaces, creating stunning wall paneling, and adding classical structure to blank walls. Featuring a repeating geometric pattern of raised diamond rhombuses and central circular accents, this trim brings depth and structured symmetry to any design project. Whether utilized in high-end residential interiors or premium commercial developments, it provides a sophisticated border that seamlessly integrates with both traditional and neoclassical aesthetics.
Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this moulding delivers the solid feel and durability of hardwood while remaining remarkably lightweight. Measuring 16 mm in thickness, 47 mm in height, and 2440 mm in length, the profile is perfectly proportioned for use as a dado rail, chair rail, or decorative wall framing. Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details.
The standout feature of this model is its crisply embossed relief detailing. Thanks to advanced high-pressure injection moulding, every geometric edge and smooth curve is rendered with flawless precision. This level of detail creates beautiful shadow lines that catch the ambient light, enhancing the architectural character of any room. It allows designers to easily implement classic boiserie-style wall framing without the labor-intensive sanding and carving required by traditional materials.
Designed for versatile applications, this profile excels in both indoor and outdoor settings. Indoors, it acts as an excellent wall divider, framing element for feature walls, or a decorative ceiling border. When applied to exterior facades, it serves as a durable accent trim, provided it is finished with a UV-resistant paint to protect the polyurethane core from natural weathering and discoloration.
For installation, a clean and dry substrate is essential. The moulding is easily cut with standard fine-toothed hand saws, allowing for precise 45-degree miter joints. Secure the trim using polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive, supplemented with mechanical fasteners where necessary. To finish, joints can be filled with acrylic filler, lightly sanded, and painted. The product arrives with a factory-applied white primer that prepares the surface. While this factory base coat enhances paint adhesion, applying an additional primer is optional and remains at the installer's discretion, as paint manufacturers require their own priming systems for full warranty coverage.
With its high dimensional stability and impact resistance, the P82012 is a long-lasting, low-maintenance alternative to fragile plaster and moisture-sensitive MDF. It provides a premium, cost-effective finish that elevates the visual value of any modern or heritage property.
