polyurethane mirror frame

A polyurethane mirror frame is a decorative frame element mounted on a mirror's edge or surrounding the mirror. It is used in interiors in classic and modern patterns to give a mirror a decorative appearance. The material is lightweight and bonds directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or warp, and takes paint well. When used in damp areas such as bathrooms, unlike timber it does not rot, and unlike plaster it is unaffected by moisture. Being lightweight makes mounting onto a mirror easy. Because each piece is cast from a mould, the frame motif repeats identically across every unit. Polure produces mirror frames in a range of sizes and motifs.
