Polyurethane facade ornamentation is the general name for the various polyurethane decorative elements applied to a building's exterior, covering pieces such as profiles, arches, keystones, columns and medallions. They are used around windows and doors, between floors and at facade corners to give the facade a classical look. Polyurethane is lightweight and applies directly to the facade with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than stone ornamentation, it adds no extra load to the facade and installs quickly. As it is mould-cast, the ornamental details repeat identically on every piece.
