Curved Polyurethane Arch Segment for Door and Window Frames

The P1460D180VI curved architectural molding segment is designed to frame round windows, arched doorways, or create sophisticated curved transitions along walls and ceilings. This specialized component offers a robust structural solution that replaces heavy plaster or high-maintenance timber, bringing classic architectural geometry into modern residential and commercial designs.

Measuring 542 mm in depth, 1053 mm in length, and 548 mm in height, this curved profile is manufactured from rigid high-density polymer (150-220 kg/m³). This specific density provides a wood-like hardness that easily resists physical impacts while keeping the component lightweight and easy to handle. With a water absorption rate of under 1%, it is highly resistant to rot, swelling, and moisture damage.

A close look at the visual profile reveals a meticulously designed multi-stepped edge that transitions smoothly into a deep, elegant concave curve, finished with a clean top border. This stepped configuration creates a beautiful play of light and shadow, highlighting the curvature of your walls or window frames with crisp, clean lines that remain sharp over time.

Perfect for luxury villa facades, grand hotel lobbies, and upscale restaurant interiors, this curved segment can be used to crown arched entrances, build custom ceiling vaults, or frame round windows. Its substantial dimensions make it an ideal choice for medium-to-large scale architectural projects requiring bold, clean curved details.

Installing this lightweight segment is significantly faster than traditional stone or plaster alternatives. Installers must use a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive in combination with mechanical screw fastening for a secure, permanent bond. Once mounted, joints and screw heads can be filled, sanded, and painted to achieve a flawless, seamless finish.

The product is supplied with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface for final coating. While this factory coat readies the profile, applying an additional primer is optional and remains at the customer's discretion, as paint manufacturers often require their own primers to validate paint warranties. For all outdoor installations, a UV-resistant topcoat is mandatory to prevent discoloration.
