polyurethane pilaster
A polyurethane pilaster is a decorative polyurethane element that has no load-bearing function and gives the appearance of a vertical structural member. It is used indoors and outdoors in front of walls and along arch and passage edges as a decorative vertical element. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being lighter than a wood or stone equivalent and unaffected by moisture, it is easy to install. Since it is mould-cast, the surface and dimensional detail repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces polyurethane pilaster elements in a range of sizes and models.
