polyurethane relief rosette

A polyurethane relief rosette is a circular or polygonal decorative medallion with a relief, accented centre that is applied to a wall or ceiling surface. It is used at the centre of a ceiling around lighting, as a focal point on walls, or as a corner accent for cornices and panels. Polyurethane is lightweight and is bonded directly to the surface with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted after priming to match the colour of the room. Compared with plaster rosettes it is lighter and faster to install, and unlike wood it is not affected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the relief motif details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces relief rosettes in a range of diameters and motifs.
