Polyurethane fireplaces is the general name for decorative fireplace surrounds and mantels produced from polyurethane. In classic, modern and rustic styles they are used in living rooms and lounges together with electric or bioethanol units or purely for decoration. Polyurethane is light and is fixed to the wall with mounting adhesive or screws; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and can be painted. Being lighter than marble and stone fireplaces, they are easy to carry and install and add no structural load to the wall. The surface can be painted with a marble, wood or solid-colour effect.
