polyurethane half capital

A polyurethane half capital is a half column capital, made of polyurethane, that sits on top of the column in applications where half of the column is set into the wall. It is used to complete the top finish of half columns and pilasters that rest against a wall. It is preferred indoors and outdoors to create a classic order. The polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Being light, it is easy to install at the top of the wall and the risk of breakage during handling is low. As it is mould-cast, the capital details repeat identically on every piece and match the shaft. Polure produces its polyurethane half capitals in sizes compatible with its own half column shafts.
