polyurethane ceiling rose

The Polure ceiling rose is a circular or polygonal polyurethane decorative element applied to the centre of the ceiling, usually framing a chandelier or lighting element. It creates a focal point at the centre of the ceiling and surrounds the lighting connection with a decorative motif. The polyurethane material is lightweight, applied directly to the ceiling with mounting adhesive, and being light it adds no load to the ceiling. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted; compared with its plaster equivalent it is lighter and carried without breaking. Since it is mould-produced, the motif details repeat exactly on every piece and the chandelier hole comes out cleanly at the centre point.
