rustic support element

A rustic support element is a polyurethane part placed beneath a beam or overhang in rustic ceiling and facade applications, giving the appearance of a wood-look structural support. It is produced in corbel, brace and bracket forms; it makes exposed beam ends, roof overhangs and shelf undersides look as if they are being supported. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive or a screwed support; it resists moisture and impact, does not rot or crack and can be painted in wood tones. Compared with a real wood support element it is both light and unaffected by humidity differences. Because it is mould-produced, the wood texture repeats realistically on every part.
