Polyurethane Rustic Wood-Look Beam Support Corbel

The P1981GK1 is a high-density architectural bracket designed to replicate the rugged charm of aged structural timber. Serving as a decorative corbel, this element introduces an authentic rustic aesthetic to both interior ceiling systems and exterior facades. It provides the visual weight and historical character of heavy oak or pine beams without the structural load or installation complexity associated with natural timber.

Engineered from rigid polyurethane (PU) with a density of 150-220 kg/m³, this support bracket offers the surface hardness of traditional softwoods while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Measuring 263 mm in width, projecting 272 mm, and extending 895 mm in length, its dimensions are ideal for medium-to-large scale architectural layouts. Thanks to its closed-cell composition, the material maintains a water absorption rate below 1% and its dimensional stability has been tested between -20 °C and +70 °C, reducing the risk of warping, splitting, or rotting.

Visually, the product boasts an incredibly detailed surface texture, capturing deep-set wood grains, natural weathering cracks, and realistic end-grain concentric growth rings. This meticulous molding process ensures that once painted, the piece is virtually indistinguishable from authentic hand-hewn timber, making it a perfect match for country, alpine lodge, rustic, or traditional European architectural designs.

This decorative beam support is highly versatile. It is commonly installed at the junction of ceiling beams and walls, under roof overhangs, balcony projections, or as an ornamental support under decorative mantelpieces and entryways. It allows architects and interior designers to easily implement timber-frame details in modern residential villas, boutique hotels, and themed commercial venues.

Unlike real wood, the product is highly resistant to insect damage, mold, and moisture decay. It is supplied with a factory-applied primer layer that prepares the surface for painting. For a secure installation, apply polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive to all contact joints and secure mechanically with heavy-duty screws. While the factory coating prepares the surface, applying a secondary primer is optional and at the discretion of the installer, as paint manufacturers require their own primers for paint warranty compliance.
