rustic rafter models
Rustic rafter models cover a range of wood-textured polyurethane rafter types with a timber rafter look. They are used on open ceilings, verandas, canopies and between beams to give a rustic timber rafter effect. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Unlike a real timber rafter it does not absorb moisture and swell, does not rot and is not attacked by insects; it requires no structural load and can be carried by one person. Because the grain and knot details on the surface are mould-produced, they repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces rustic rafter models in a range of widths, lengths and textures.
