palace ceiling rose

A palace ceiling rose refers to a densely relieved and usually large-diameter polyurethane ceiling rose inspired by classic palace ornamentation. It is used to create a decorative focal point at the centre of the ceiling, mostly in the position framed by the chandelier. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the ceiling with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being much lighter than plaster, even large-diameter roses install easily on the ceiling with a low risk of breakage. Because it is mould-produced, the relief pattern repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces palace ceiling roses in various diameters and pattern options.
