A ceiling lighting moulding is a polyurethane decorative moulding fitted to the ceiling edge that provides a channel for concealed LED lighting. It is used to create indirect lighting at the ceiling-to-wall junction; the LED strip sits in the channel behind the moulding and the light reflects towards the ceiling. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the profile stays constant along its length, and pieces combine to form a seamless lighting line. Polure produces ceiling lighting mouldings in various profiles and sizes.
