Every Amorf Armatür unit is delivered with a factory-applied primer coat designed to prepare the surface for final painting. While this factory primer readies the product, paint manufacturers generally do not guarantee paint adhesion unless their proprietary primers are used beforehand. Consequently, applying an additional primer layer is optional and remains entirely at the customer's discretion. Polure does not offer warranties for third-party paint performance or accept liability for applied coatings. For external applications, finishing the product with a high-quality, UV-resistant paint is mandatory, as unpainted raw PU surfaces will undergo yellowing when exposed to solar radiation.

Installation
Installing the Amorf Armatür requires a precise combination of chemical adhesion and mechanical fastening to ensure long-term safety. Begin by preparing a clean, flat, and dry substrate. If multiple units are aligned, perform 45-degree miter cuts using a dedicated saw. Apply a high-quality polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive in continuous beads along the structural contact areas on the back of the fixture; do not use silicone-based adhesives. Press the unit firmly against the substrate. Mechanical fixing using screws is mandatory to anchor the fixture securely during the adhesive curing process. Fill all screw holes and joint seams with an exterior-grade acrylic filler. Once fully cured, sand the joints smoothly using 180-220 grit sandpaper. Apply an optional primer coat if desired, and finish with two coats of high-grade water-based or synthetic paint, ensuring UV-resistant paint is used for any exterior installations.
Care Information
Amorf Armatür fixtures require minimal maintenance over their extensive service life. Regular dust removal using a dry, soft microfiber cloth is sufficient to preserve light output and surface appearance. Avoid using acidic cleaners, harsh industrial solvents, or abrasive scrubbing pads, which can degrade the protective paint layers. In the event of physical impact damage, the high-density polymer can be easily repaired on-site by applying an acrylic compound, sanding the area smooth with fine sandpaper, and applying a spot touch-up of the original paint.
