How to Request a Sample: Standard and Custom-Size Sample Terms
A sample of our standard products is free of charge; the shipping charge is the buyer’s responsibility. If a sample is requested for a custom-made size or model, the sample is subject to a charge, and the amount is stated in the quotation.
Short answer: is the sample free?
A sample of our standard products is free of charge; the shipping charge is the buyer’s responsibility. If a sample is requested for a custom-made size or model, the sample is subject to a charge, and the amount is stated in the quotation.
What to include in your sample request
- The product code you are interested in (shown on the product page) or the link to the gallery project you liked
- Where it will be used: interior, façade, ceiling or wall
- The delivery city and country (to determine the shipping charge)
- For a custom size or model: a dimensioned drawing or a photo
Standard sample versus custom-size sample
A standard sample is prepared from existing catalogue products. A custom-made size or model may require a new mould or a mould adaptation, so this sample is subject to a charge; the amount is stated in the quotation.
What you can check with a sample
You can see the surface texture, pattern detail and section proportions in the light of your own room and test the paint you plan to use. To estimate the number of lengths you can also use the length calculator.
