Polyurethane Circular Full Decorative Column 36x279 cm
Technical Specifications
Details
Polyurethane circular full column P83TY20C is an architectural decorative element engineered to enhance grand entrance portals, building facades, and high-ceiling interior spaces. Measuring 360x360 mm at the base with a height of 2790 mm, this structural accent brings authentic classical proportions to modern construction projects without adding excess structural weight.
Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane with a density of 150-220 kg/m³ (production target ~160 kg/m³), this column features a closed-cell physical structure that ensures water absorption remains under 1%. It exhibits superior thermal stability across a broad temperature spectrum from -100 °C / +80 °C, guaranteeing zero warping, shrinking, or swelling regardless of environmental moisture variations.
The column presents a smooth factory-primed white surface designed to receive final decorative finishes. Its sleek circular profile provides crisp, uniform lines from ground to capital, offering an elegant cladding option for existing non-decorative steel or concrete posts, as well as standalone decorative feature installations.
Engineered for both interior halls and exterior architecture, this product elevates hotel lobbies, luxury villa entrances, event venues, covered verandas, and dining halls. Its versatile composition renders it fully resistant to humidity, mold, rot, and insect degradation, far outlasting traditional timber alternatives in exposed conditions.
Installation requires fixing the column to structural supports using polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive combined with mechanical screw anchoring. Joints and hardware insertion points are seamlessly smoothed using exterior-grade joint compound and 180-220 grit sandpaper before applying topcoat paint. Compared to heavy gypsum plaster or stone, its lightweight nature enables faster handling and lower labor overheads.
Delivered pre-primed from the factory, the column surface is primed to bond with water-based or synthetic paints. For exterior projects, finish coats must utilize high-quality UV-resistant paint to preserve color stability under direct sunlight exposure over long periods.
