Wood Look Fireplace Mantel

A wood look fireplace mantel is a polyurethane element with a wood texture surface, used to create a decorative fireplace surround. Mounted to the wall, it forms a wood look decorative fireplace frame, surrounding electric or decorative fireplace units. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, and can be painted. Unlike real wood, it does not rot and does not react to moisture. It should not come into direct contact with an open flame; it is used for decorative purposes. Polure manufactures wood look fireplace mantel elements in a range of sizes and models.
