Wood-effect ceiling cladding is a polyurethane covering that gives the ceiling surface a wood texture and grain appearance. It is used to clad ceilings in living rooms, lounges and restaurants instead of real timber. The polyurethane material is lightweight; it is applied directly to the ceiling with assembly adhesive, and installation takes less time than with real wood. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted if desired. Unlike wood, it is not attacked by insects, does not warp and does not deform in humid environments.
