wood-alternative ornaments
Wood-alternative ornaments are a group of wood-look polyurethane decorative elements used in place of real wood ornaments. In various motifs and sizes, they are used for ornamentation on furniture, doors, walls and ceiling surfaces. The polyurethane material is lightweight; it is glued directly with assembly adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Unlike wood it is not attacked by insects, is unaffected by moisture and, being series-produced, is more affordable. As they are mould-cast, the ornament details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces wood-alternative ornaments in a range of sizes and patterns.
