Gold Leaf Facade
Gold leaf facade is an exterior ornamentation technique using polyurethane elements with gold leaf applied to their surface. It is used on window surrounds, cornices and facade accents to create a gold colour effect. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, and does not crack or blister in outdoor weather conditions. Being much lighter than its stone or plaster equivalent, it puts no load on the facade and installs quickly. Since it is cast in moulds, the profile and details repeat identically on every piece, ensuring consistency along the facade.
