antique-look ceiling ornament

An antique-look ceiling ornament is a polyurethane ceiling decoration element given an old, classical appearance with an aged and patina surface effect. It is used in classical and rustic interiors on cornices, medallions and ceiling mouldings to create a nostalgic texture. Polyurethane elements are lightweight and are fixed to the ceiling with assembly adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell and can be painted. The antique look is achieved with aging paint and patina techniques applied to the surface. Being lighter than a plaster equivalent makes ceiling installation easier.
