Building facade ornamentation is exterior decoration done on a building's outer surface with polyurethane elements such as window surrounds, cornices, columns, sills and relief motifs. It is used to emphasize window and door surrounds, floor divisions and eave lines on the facade. Polyurethane facade elements are lightweight, which makes installation easier on high facades and adds no extra load to the structure; they resist moisture, frost and outdoor conditions, do not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Because they are mould-cast, the surround and cornice profiles repeat identically along the whole facade, providing a symmetrical look.
