impact-resistant skirting board

An impact-resistant skirting board is a polyurethane skirting profile applied at the wall-to-floor joint that resists knocks and impacts. It is used in living rooms, corridors and high-traffic areas to protect the base of the wall and provide a decorative finish. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp, and is paintable. Unlike wood and MDF skirting, it is unaffected by moisture and knocks and does not swell when wet. Polure produces impact-resistant skirting boards in a range of heights and profiles.
