Decorative interior arches are polyurethane arch elements in a curved form, mounted over door, window or transition openings indoors. They are used in living rooms, corridors and sitting rooms to give openings a classic frame. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lightweight, it adds no extra load over the opening and installs faster than its plaster or timber counterpart. Because it is mould-cast, the arch profile is identical on every piece.
