A decorative square motif is a polyurethane ornament with a square-shaped relief pattern. It is used as a repeating decorative element on wall surfaces, around ceiling roses or in panel layouts. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell; unlike wood it is unaffected by humidity, and it is lighter and more break-resistant than plaster. The surface can be painted over primer, so it matches the wall colour or creates contrast. Because it is mould-cast, the relief details of the square motif repeat identically on every piece.
