With a material density of 150-200 kg/m³, it mirrors the structural hardness and crisp detail of traditional wood carvings while remaining remarkably lightweight. Its closed-cell composition ensures near-zero moisture absorption (under 1%) and excellent thermal stability between -20°C and +80°C, preventing warping, cracking, or shrinking over time.

Installing the P8027S is quick and efficient compared to fragile plaster or heavy timber equivalents. The process requires a clean, dry surface and the application of a high-quality polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive; silicone adhesives must be avoided. For permanent security, mechanical fastening with screws is mandatory. Once mounted, screw holes and joints should be filled with acrylic putty, sanded with 180-220 grit sandpaper, and painted. While the factory primer prepares the surface, an additional primer coat is optional and depends on your paint manufacturer's guidelines, as Polure does not guarantee third-party paint performance.
