decorative string course

A decorative string course is a polyurethane moulding profile that horizontally separates the floors on a building facade. It is used to visually divide the floors on the facade and create a horizontal line. Polyurethane is lightweight; the long moulding pieces are fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive and screws when needed. It resists moisture and impact, is suitable for outdoor weather conditions, does not crack or swell, and unlike stone or plaster equivalents it places no structural load. The surface can be painted over primer with exterior paint. Because it is mould-cast, the profile section of the moulding repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces the decorative string course in different width and profile options.
